Suppose you want to apply for a probationary officer post in the State Bank of India, you need to complete the SBI PO registration, which will allow you to appear for the SBI PO exams. This article discusses the registration process for the SBI probationary officer post.

Prerequisites for SBI Probationary Officer Registration

The registration process requires you to fill in personal and educational details. It will help if you keep the following things with you before starting the SBI PO registrationprocess.

  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Bank details
  • Valid email id and phone number
  • Scanned photograph in the prescribed format
  • The scanned signature image in prescribed dimensions

The SBI probationary officer registration process needs to be done at the official SBI recruitment website. Click on “Click Here for New Registration” given on the top of the page. The registration process is divided into five sections- Basic Info, Photo and Signature, Details, Preview, and Payment.

First Section- Basic Info

In this section, you must key in details like First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name. The name should exactly match your photo ID and educational documents. If any discrepancy is found at later stages of recruitment, you might be debarred from the selection process.

To ensure correct entries, you have to confirm every entry in the form related to personal details. After filling in your name, add your email address and phone number. Make sure you have access to the phone number you have entered, as you might receive an OTP during the registration process.

Check all information entered in the Basic info section, type the image’s security code, and click Save and Next to proceed to next.

After completing the first section successfully, you will get a message on your registered phone number. The message contains a provisional registration number and password.

Section Two-Photo and Signature

The second section requires you to upload your photograph and signature. Read the instructions to ensure your photograph and signature image complies with the given dimensions and file size.

To upload a photo:

  1. Click on Choose File.
  2. Navigate to the location where your photograph resides on your computer.
  3. Select the photo and click, OK.
  4. After the photo is successfully uploaded, go ahead, and upload your signature image.

To upload a signature:

  1. Click Choose File.
  2. Navigate to the folder where the signature image is located.
  3. Select the image and click OK.
  4. After the signature is uploaded successfully, click Next

Section Three – Details

The third section requires you to enter educational details. Enter your graduation, post-graduation details. Also, enter details about any additional qualifications you have. In the work experience, mention your total work experience. After entering all details, cross-check for any mistakes and then click on “Next.”

Section Four – Preview

The preview section lists all the information you have entered on one screen. Check all the details entered. If you have made any spelling mistakes or entered incorrect data, go back to the related section, and modify it. Remember, you will not be able to make any corrections after submitting the data. If you think there are no modifications needed, click Submit.

Section Five- Payment

In the payment section, you need to make a one-time payment for the SBI PO registration. The registration process is not complete until you make the payment.

After making the payment, you will see a congratulatory message regarding successful registration along with a permanent registration number. You will also receive the registration details through SMS. Keep the registration details safe to apply for any SBI vacancies.
